About Us
Westminster Auto Clinic was started by Larry Lorimer in 1958 at 3939 W. 72nd. Ave. In 1972 the business moved to its current location at 80th & Federal Blvd. Both Vern Torgerson and Frank Fish owned the business for several years. Mark James purchased Westminster Auto Clinic in 1991. The business has since been sold to its long serving technicians, Hal and Chris.
Hal,
Born in Northglenn and a Northglenn High School alumni, Hal has over 20 years in the automotive repair industry. He is currently an ASE Master Certified Technician with an ASE certificate in advanced engine and service consultation. Hal has been with Westminster Auto Clinic since 1993. His outside interests include older cars, especially his Camaro, and taking motorcycle trips.
Chris,
A Denver native, Chris and moved to San Diego at the age of twelve. He studied small engine repair in High school and cut his teeth rebuilding engines for trucks and RVs with a family friend. He returned to Denver when he was 20 and started with the Auto Clinic in 1993. Chris currently holds five different technician certificates and enjoys dirt bike riding and fishing in his spare time.
